For this hospitality concept based in Santana Row, I was brought in to redesign and elevate a pitch deck for a new restaurant and lounge. The client had a rough layout and early content—I reworked the presentation to better reflect their vision by improving the layout, tone, and visuals.
Using SketchUp and D5 Render, I developed custom visualizations to bring the space to life. I also used Photoshop to refine and enhance the renders, and InDesign to structure the entire deck layout—resulting in a clean, visually engaging final product. My design contributions focused on establishing a moody, art deco-inspired visual style, enhancing imagery, and streamlining the storytelling throughout the deck.
Visual Direction & Rendering
I leaned into a vibrant, eclectic aesthetic that blended modern vintage design with art deco flair. Using a structured grid layout and bold visual accents, the deck emphasized mood, personality, and concept clarity.
I produced two key rendered scenes: one showcasing the lush outdoor patio and another of the interior bar space, capturing the overall vibe and architectural intent.
Content & Layout Refresh
I reorganized the client’s original draft to improve flow, tone, and clarity. Content was rewritten for a more professional voice, and the layout was rebuilt using Adobe InDesign to create a cohesive structure throughout the deck.
Branded Storytelling
Each spread was designed to reflect a different aspect of the customer experience—from brunch to nightlife. I aimed to bring visual rhythm to the deck while keeping the text inviting and easy to navigate.
Tools Used
SketchUp – 3D modeling, D5 Render – Lighting + rendering, Adobe Photoshop – Render editing and visual polish, and Adobe InDesign – Layout and presentation design
This project showcases my ability to take early-stage ideas and turn them into a polished, client-ready pitch, balancing 3D rendering, graphic design, storytelling, and layout structure. It reflects my attention to detail, design sensitivity, and ability to work across multiple tools to bring a vision to life.
